H.L. I often ask myself why bands from exotic countries on the the metal map do not use their origin as an individual add-on to the music instead of simply copying the Nordic black metal style. So, thanks to ALMACH for integrating a lot of oriental/ Arabic influences, that makes the album very special! The passages do not always fit seamlessly together, but in the best tracks "River" or the interlude "Ritual" you feel the magic of exotic countries. For fans of Melechesh, Orphaned Land or Akhenaten! Favorite track: River.

bmurator Afghan Epic / Atmospheric Black Metal although the precise origins as somewhat unclear. I am seriously addicted to Middle Eastern metal so... :) This fits & it is a good one - possibly even stronger than their previous "Realm" & that was already stellar! No faves & highly recommended!!!

PKMetal Rivers of traditional Afghan music flow through mountains of riffs. I love the weighty guitar tone that isn't as shrill as you often hear in atmoblack. This is Almach's finest release to date. Favorite track: Immortal Sun.
